On August 3rd, 2024, we will be hosting our 5th annual golf tournament in Alberta, to raise funds for African students within the Department of History at the University of Calgary who are studying African history topics at the Ph.D. level, to help with their advanced research and educational needs. 

The objective is to assist them with travel expenses involved with their research trips, and additional expenses contained therein. These research trips have, over the years, proven difficult for international students and it has prompted us to raise money through this Zambezi Golf Tournament initiative. Our mission as a passionate African collective in the diaspora is to see the enhancement and increased documentation of various African History subjects.
